step 1 : orientation.

i've decided to use this journal to document all the steps in my process in going over to England. so far, i'm still at step one : acceptance and orientation.

we had our 2 hour mandatory orientation on Friday. it was pretty much basic stuff if you've travelled overseas before.... be careful of pickpockets, swindlers, etc. other stuff. and then they told us the dates for the site-specific orientations but Herstmonceux-Fall wasn't listed... so it's all up in the air.

i have a list of places i want to see while in Europe, and people :

the list so far :
firstly, England. i want to see everything and anything i can. mostly:
-- London (Anna (and all her peoples), Amy(Kait), Jackie and Adam if he comes down from Birmingham)
-- Canterbury
-- Salisbury (for Stonehenge. im DYING to see Stonehenge)
-- Manchester
-- Southend - On - Sea
-- Dover
-- Nottingham
-- Reading
-- Brighton (which should be relatively easy, considering i'll be living quite close to it)
... and probably Wales.

Ireland :
-- Dublin (this is a school sponsored trip)
-- Galway City

France :
-- Paris (Solene, Caroline, Marie, and Victoire)
-- Normandy
-- Nice (if i get really lucky and rich)

Czech Republic :
-- Prague (i really want to go here, i can't explain why)

Germany :
-- Berlin

Belguim :
-- Brussels (Emmeke)

Spain:
-- Barcelona (this is a school sponsored trip)
-- Madrid

Italy:
-- Florence
-- Rome
-- Venice
-- Naples

The Netherlands :

-- The Hague (we're a bit dutch and i'd like to go there and get some wooden shoes for my niece)
-- Amsterdam

Greece :
-- Athens (this is something i really want to do, explore Greece because i love Mythology)

Iceland :
-- Reykjavik (though it's quite pricey and i dont know if i'll actually do it)

Denmark :

-- Copenhagen

Sweden :

-- Stockholm, i guess (Emma)

too tired to list any more. i have to fix this layout.. it sucks.
